Freehand is a tattooing technique,
: the tattoo artist does not use a stencil (tracing paper) and draw the design of your choice directly onto your skin with a felt-tip pen.
This allows the pattern to adapt PERFECTLY to the curves of your body.
This technique is commonly used to create patterns :
– abstract
– floral (foliage)
– Maori
Some very talented tattoo artists don't bother drawing with a marker and tattoo directly "freehand" onto your skin.
