Tattooing, pregnancy, and breastfeeding

Tattooing, pregnancy, and breastfeeding

We do not tattoo pregnant women.
A tattoo is a breach in the skin. It causes trauma to the body (even if it doesn't actually hurt), This causes stress which can then have consequences for the fetus.

You can tattoo a breastfeeding woman, BUT…
Tattoo ink remains in the dermis of the skin. There is no reason for it to end up in breast milk.
BUT tattoos can be a source of stress, which can then have consequences on breastfeeding (inflammation, insufficient milk, milk stasis…).
ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR if you choose to breastfeed and get a tattoo!

There's no rush, your health and the child's health come first!
