The price of a tattoo

The price is determined based on:

  • the size of the tattoo (the bigger it is, the more expensive it is, even if it's "just" a 1m line around the arm),
  • the area to be tattooed (skin is more difficult/delicate depending on the area: the ribs, for example, are generally more expensive),
  • the style of the tattoo and the complexity of the project (the more details, the more expensive it is),
  • project completion time (design and act of tattooing).

The price also includes: the share of fixed costs (rent, communication, management…), raw materials (equipment and consumables of all kinds), URSSAF deductions (26%, they're raking it in ^^) and salary (after all, I'm not doing this for the glory).

The price can vary from one tattoo artist to another depending on the region/city (rents are not the same everywhere) but also depending on the experience and reputation of the tattoo artist.

A deposit approximately 30% is required to confirm the appointment date and begin the prototype of your project. This deposit partly covers the creation of the visual and no drawing is done until it has been received (I do not work for free).

The price of the tattoo may be changed during the project* if the specifications (project definition) set and validated before the deposit payment is modified.

TIP: If you wish to get several tattoos in the same session, the price is reduced!
Example: A first tattoo costs €100 and a second costs €90. If you get them done in two separate appointments, you will pay €190. However, if you get them done in the same session, the price will be lower, €160. This price reduction is due to the fact that the equipment is only used once, and it also saves time on setup.
