It’s trendy right now., ‘energetic tattoos’ are popping up all over the internet. For some, these would be tattoos that, depending on the placement, design, and associated ritual, would provide certain ‘healing virtues’ or ‘strengths’…
I do not question the potential benefits of tattooing, (reclaiming one’s body, covering a physical/psychological wound, self-expression…), but this act is not ‘shamanic’ and will not solve your problems.
A tattoo does not replace a medical procedure. (I don't cure cancer) or psychological support (I cannot treat your gambling addiction) I am not a healthcare professional., I am only a listening ear, a “bar-side therapist” at most, who accompanies you artistically during a shared moment of tattooing, in a safe environment and with respect for your integrity and hygiene rules.
